Mike Sabetti started the business in Kent, Ohio in 1967 with 2 repair bays and a car wash where the current location of Don Joseph Toyota is located. In 1971, Mike built the current body shop at its location on North Francis Street expanding the shop to have 24 bays and two paint booths.

Sabett'i’s second owner Dave Burt began working for Mike in 1978 right out of high school. Dave owned the business from 2001 until Chris Grootegoed purchased the shop in March of 2020. Chris continues to build on the reputation that Mike and Dave have worked hard to establish.

Our technicians have an average of 15 years of collision and painting experience. Over the years we have repaired thousands of vehicles and continue to keep up with the evolving technology in the collision repair industry and deliver high quality service to our customers.

Sabetti Body Shop was founded in 1971 and has thrived in the Kent, Ohio community by building a solid reputation from decades of quality work and has strived for complete customer satisfaction.
